Exterior Colors

The colors of your windows and doors can make a major contribution to the overall attractiveness of your home.

Semco’s heavy-duty extruded aluminum cladding lets you choose elegant complementing or contrasting colors from a large range of both standard and premier finishes. You may also provide a sample of any color for precise matching.

Beautiful Color & Quality Construction: Guaranteed to Last

All Semco colors are rich looking and factory applied to provide a durable and lasting finish. Semco’s quality application process resistscracking, chipping, and fading, backed by a 10-year written limited warranty.

Quality Semco cladding is made using only extruded aluminum instead of roll-form aluminum. Roll-forming bends and stretches thin sheets of aluminum into more fragile, more easily dented shapes. The extruding process involves forcing molten aluminum through a metal die to produce the exact shape needed. This process is much more precise, producing sturdier, thicker cladding that provides superior performance when applied to the wood parts of the window or door.

Powder-Coat Color Method

All of the colors shown, with the exception of the anodized colors, are produced using the powder-coat method. A positively charged powder pigment is applied to a negatively charged extrusion. The extrusion is then baked in a special furnace at 400° Fahrenheit. This process turns the powder to a liquid and then bakes it on the extrusion to produce a resilient, lustrous finish that will provide years of trouble-free performance.

Anodizing Color Method

The colors designated with an “Anodized” name are produced with a combination of natural oxidation, electricity and chemicals to produce a hard, transparent surface that is integral with the extrusion. This assures a gleaming finish that will stand up to years of exposure.

The exterior colors shown on this page may not accurately represent the actual finished colors. For actual samples of the finished colors contact your local Semco dealer.
